Career Conversations – Careers in Project Management

October 15 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Please note: This session is for doctoral students and Early Career Researchers (ECRs)

Career Conversations is a monthly online lunchtime panel series delivered by Manchester Met, University of Manchester and University of Salford as part of the Greater Manchester Researcher Development Partnership (GMResDev).

The series invites panellists who are former doctoral students/ECRs and now work in a variety of roles and sectors beyond academic research to talk about how they used their researcher skills and experience to get their current role, and how their research background has helped them in their career.

This months theme is ‘Careers in Project Management’.

Join us this month for Career Conversations: Careers in Project Management. In this session, panellists from a range of disciplinary backgrounds will share their professional journeys into Project Management, offering insights into how they transitioned and built their careers in this field.

Discover different types of project management roles, and how your skills as a researcher can translate into Project Management roles, learn which strengths to highlight, and explore the key capabilities you may wish to develop. This is a great opportunity to gain practical advice and inspiration as you consider your own pathway into Project Management.

Please Register here for the session to receive joining details. Please download the calendar invite to hold the time in your diary.
